Bridgebank Ltd has a health and safety management system that meets the required legislative standards, and we are working towards its certification to BS OHSAS 18001:2007.
We pride ourselves in providing a healthy and safe working environment for our employees and contractors, and on minimising the risk and disruption to any other parties who may be affected by our activities, whether we are acting as Principal Contractor, Contractor, or just carrying out the smallest of jobs.
Compliance with current legislation and our own standards is monitored throughout our organisation by our team of independent Health and Safety Advisors. There is a programme of regular site inspections and internal audits in place as part of this.
Targets and objectives are established to help us measure our performance and demonstrate our aim of continual improvement.
The Managing Director, Directors and Management lead by example in promoting high standards of health and safety throughout the company and take active roles, such as through meetings, planning, allocating resources, and visiting sites.
A programme of certificated training to industry standards is supplemented by regular tool box talks, and our dedicated Plant Department ensure our equipment is maintained, serviced and inspected as required.
